I really love the idea of the verbal satellite system you made for Trigedasleng but I can't seem to find anything about which verbs go with which satellites. Is there an actual rule or system in place? Or are verbs randomly assigned one satellite they use? Are there any verbs that can take multiple satellites to derive different meanings?
The latter two. In other words, it's lexical. There are broad tendences (e.g. op is generic; raun is intransitive; in is experiencer, etc.), but it is definitely 100% lexical, and so must be learned with each verb. They're listed in the dictionary.

Hello out of curiosity what would the word survivor be in trigedasleng

Does Raven know any trigedasleng ?? We know that characters like Monty, Murphy and Bellamy who initially didn't know trig, learned it in The Ring during those six years taught by Echo or/and Emori but Raven never pronounces any word in trigedasleng throught the show (nor does Harper if I recall well) but we would think Raven spends a lot of time around Grounders especially during later alliances, so she could have learned bits and pieces mostly practical words and phrases. And I don't see why Echo and Emori would teach the boys trigedasleng but not the girls. This is more a plot based question rather than an etymology one so I'm sorry but I was wondering if you had any answers regarding that for me ? Thank you for your time and work
Yeah, I figure Raven knows some. I figure most of Skaikru do. It's simply a matter of who needs to know more or shows more interest when it comes to how much they know. I thought it would've been cool for Raven to use Trig. regularly but it wasn't a part of her character arc.

What's a word whose etymology you are proud of?
Trigedasleng wears its etymologies on its sleeve, being a future form of English, but I will always love sofstepa (< "soft" + "stepper") for "cat".
So... I've been looking in Trigedasleng and I'm just wondering... how come the terms for mom, dad, daughter and son got substituted with numerical (nomon, nomtu, nonfri, nonfa)? What was going through the heads of the natives...
It's a code. There was a lot of swapping of terms so that overhearers wouldn't understand what was being said. The immediately family unit was renamed as follows:
mother = number one
father = number two
daughter = number three
son = number four
The new words for these shortened from that code.
