Heya! Okay so, I ship you with Jake.

- You meet during The Play RehearsalTM

- Obviously you passed in the halls before that, but The PlayTM was the first real interaction

- He always starts the conversations, and will always back off if he sees that you’re starting to get uncomfortable (we stan respecting boundaries)

- Whenever you’re reading in a class or writing, he’ll ask questions about it cause he cares (what a sweet boy)

- After a while, he starts the ~physical contact~

- Hand on your shoulder when he laughs

- Holding your hand when he’s dragging you to see something

- Arm around your shoulder during class

- Sometimes for no reason he’ll just take your hands and just... look at them. He just thinks they’re neat.

- Once yall are comfortable with each other, you’re more aware of small things he does

- You’ll catch him looking at you in class with a dumb smile on his face

- He reads the books you read because “Well if you like them, then they have to be good”

- He walks you to class, even if his is on another floor and side of the school

- He helps you with social situations, you help him practice lines (You so have every line lowkey memorized)

- One day he invites you to his Halloween party

- You debate going, but eventually you do go in a simple costume

- Ignoring most events of the actual musical

- You mostly hang out with Jake the whole time (obviously lmao)

- Its a great bonding experience

- After the party, he keeps asking you to places around town

- Pinkberry, the mall, the movies

- He takes you to local theater shows

- You go over to his place and meet his dog (he so has a dog fight me)

- I feel like you’re lowkey oblivious to his romantic gestures

- He brings you roses? “Oh, thank you! My mom will love these”

- Chocolates? “Oh heck yeah!” Then you turn and give Christine and Brooke some

- He literally sends you a giant teddy bear with heart balloons for V Day

- That’s probably when you start thinking “Wait a minute, I don’t think this is what friends do”

- One day he just straight up “I’m single, you’re single, you wanna date?”

- So of course you’re shocked but you say yes

- You’re inseparable

- Randomly he’ll just give you small touches of affection
