I have gotten asked enough times that this warrants my epic diagram of what 'Mew' are within Jarble
Now it doesn't always have to go this deep of a mixture point blank
A purebred liepard and a meowscarada (with a mixed family line) has a chance to have a 'mew' as a child.
Or two cat pokemon with mixed families can have a mew as well.
It all just depends.
Basically Mew as a species within Jarble are just... the result of long lines of cat pokemon mixing together... forming the vague feline beast that we all know now.
Originally they were just called 'Mew' as shorthand (because.. kitties.. say mew... haha) but as more Mew popped up.. they just kind of became their own species.
Anyways this has been a long winded way of stating:
This is how Wem Farefell's parents are a Liepard and a Delcatty.
They both had mixed family lines and therefore resulted in Wem being a mew.
Strikes a pose
Anyways my useless tidbit of information about Jarble K thanks BYEEEEE

I made this for myself so I make sure to not forget!!
Something I only recently implemented earlier this year, as I thought it would be a extra neat lil detail (other than the standard Ring Markings)
I know boring honk shoo but I upload it anyways
[ posted as of 5/24/2026, May add more info etc later ]
Shining Ring -
- Always some sort of sparkle design, generally stays the same one but can change into a different sparkle shape for expressiveness.
- Does not have to be on the Shining color spectrum. Can be any color. However most important or ring patrons generally get these colors.
- Wem Farefell's always contains the Shining Color Spectrum in full.
-
Perception Ring -
- Always a cluster of bubbles or branching bubbles/circles. Can have hooks and branches but always connects bubbles.
- Never just one bubble, always at least two.
- Does not have to be on the Perception color spectrum. Can be any color. However most important or ring patrons generally get these colors.
- Georgia Hend's always contains the Perception Color Spectrum in full
-
Mending Ring -
- Always some form of stitch markings or "math" based symbol
- More likely to have multiple eye sparkles or "mismatched symbols"
- Does not have to be on the Mending color spectrum and are most often not on that spectrum. This ring contains the most odd colored ones out of all 3 rings.
- Most people "in office" tend to have the + symbol as a sparkle
-
The Mayor -
The Mayor is a special case where their eye shines work differently than other residents.
- Mayor's eyes contain different symbols/shapes for their eye shines and rarely (if ever) match.
- Mayor's + eye contains a eye shine that changes to match whoever they are talking to.
EX: When talking to someone from shining ring, the + eye contains a sparkle shaped eye shine to match. While their other normal eye remains the standard Mending Ring one.
Other Info -
- People who are not residents of Jarbline City to not get these eyeshine traits. These eyeshine traits only appear once the person has fully integrated into the city (usually the same time their Ring Markings appear)
- While a citizens markings tend to slowly change over a prolonged period of time when within another Ring... Eye shines tend to be the first to change.
Taking around 4 days of staying completely within the Ring for the eye shines to change to match
Meanwhile markings take several months to change.
- This is totally my own personal thing/lore tidbit. If I commission you/have you draw a Jarble character, It is not the end of the world for me if this small detail isn't added.
They are eyeshines. It's fine lmao
this is more of a fun little lore thing for myself.
Don't sweat the small stuff
// Might add more stuff later but for now this is what I got, I wanna eat dinner heehoo

cw: mentions of epipens/medical stuff as well as describing sick and illness.
Note 8/24/2025: this is a lore dump post, it has some hastily done graphics and is mostly text. May be updated with proper artwork later on.
//these medicines are based on fantasy, do not come for me if they do not match how to take ibuprofen. its a fake medicine lol
Ring Sickness is the phenomenon that happens when a citizen suddenly crosses the border between the rings of the city, causing illness and injury
Note: This only applies to Jarble Citizens. Tourists are not effected by this phenomenon.
A tourist will have had to live in Jarbline City for around 7-8 months for them to experience the various effects each Ring has to offer.
Ring Intersections are neutral and do not have these ill effects, waiting within these intersections for around 2 hours or so will null all Ring Sickness. But you must remain in the Intersection for this to happen.
The Ring Boarders are the segments that are not intersected with the other rings that remain facing inward on their own space
Visual of what the difference between the Intersection and Border is:
The Ring Intersections are larger than the Borders are in those areas.
Which is both good and bad, depending on what you are doing in that area.
Crossing the Borders suddenly can result into what we call "Ring Sickness".
It is a direct effect caused by the Rings themselves and it is Instant the moment one crosses the Border.
What are the effects of Ring Sickness?
Depending on how quickly you pass through the border (or if you've taken medicine) the effects can range.
Common ailments are:
- Headache
- Nausea
- Motion sickness
- Mild Fever
- Limbs feeling "asleep" suddenly
- Nosebleed
- Muscle or Bone Ache
- Coughing
- Memory Loss*
*This effect only happens when suddenly crossing into the Mending Ring. If crossed too quickly, a person can suddenly forget absolutely everything. Who they are, where they are, etc etc. This effect only lasts around 2 minutes max.
- Tooth Ache*
*This effect only happens when suddenly crossing into the Perception Ring. If crossed too quickly, a person will suddenly feel intense pain in their teeth and jaw. Similar to the pain of wisdom teeth coming in, but every single tooth. This effect only lasts around 2 minutes max.
- Blindness / Blurry Vision*
*This effect only happens when suddenly crossing into the Shining Ring. If crossed too quickly, a person will lose their ability to see. As if their eyes were suddenly clouded. This effect only lasts around 2 minutes max.
More Extreme ailments are:
- Long lasting Migraine
- Intense and sudden uncontrollable vomiting
- Intense Fever
- Joints dislocating*
*This only happens when crossing the Mending Ring Border. It is rare for this to happen, but something to note.
- Orifice bleeding*
*Meaning your mouth, ears etc, can suddenly begin bleeding like that of a nosebleed, but from other areas.
- Tail kinks*
*For those with tails, sudden crossing can cause sudden "kinks" within tail bones. They will need to be popped back into place, this is often a bit painful.
-- -- How to Combat Ring Sickness? -- --
There are multiple ways to do this.
You can wait in the Ring Intersections for up to 2 hours
OR
You can take one of the Medicine's provided by Summit Labs!
Summit Labs (Located within the Mending Ring) have developed 3 different ways to combat Ring Sickness for those who do not have time to wait/for ease of those who need to travel frequently
These are the 3 and ONLY medical options to bypass/Lessen the effects of Ring Sickness
-- -- Soft Gels -- --
Soft Gels are as they seem, they are average sized soft gel pills filled with liquid.
These are available to the general public and are a basic Over The Counter drug!
Take 1 soft gel and wait 30-40 minutes to lessen Ring Sickness
*Best to take with water and food in stomach or else may cause some nausea. But that's like most pills anyways. Empty stomach means the pill will take longer.
You cannot take more than 1 soft gel at a time or else you will not only experience Ring Sickness, but also general sickness from eating too many pills.
Soft Gels are also able to be broken open or straight up blended into drinks or food.
For those who are fussy about taking pills.
Soft Gels only Lessen the ring sickness effects, they do not bypass them entirely. You may still experience a mild headache or nausea for a few minutes.
But still better than what you would get otherwise.
You must take a new soft gel every time you enter a different Ring.
Do not take soft gels within at least 4 hours of each other.
-- -- Pearlescent Prescription -- --
These pills are small white pills with pearlescent shine and a tiny engraving of the 3 Jarbline Rings on them.
Coming in bottles of 29-31 pills (Depending on the months)
They MUST be picked up at the Summit Pharmacy, they cannot be delivered. Be sure that you (or whoever you send) have proper ID to be able to pickup.
These pills can only be obtained through Prescriptions.
You must go through the process to prove that you travel through the Rings frequently enough to warrant you having these prescribed to you.
These pills also are made specifically to those within each Ring, so there are 3 versions of this pill.
EX: Someone from the Perception Ring will have a different dose than someone from the Shining Ring. Etc etc. The dosage depends on the individuals Home Ring.
These are a Once Daily Pill.
Take once with food/water and you will only need to wait 10 minutes to counter Ring Sickness.
They are not a full out cure. Even with these pills you can experience a small headache or feel a "off" feeling. As well as still needing to wait around 10 minutes before passing between rings.
-- -- Emergency EpiPen -- --
These EpiPens are by far the most fast acting and effective counter to Ring Sickness.
They work within 1 minute and instantly remove all Ring Sickness side effects. However, they are One Time Use, you would need to use another epipen to gain the effects again.
They work by slamming the yellow tip into your thigh, pressing the blue top AND clutching the handle on the side at the same time.
Unlike a normal EpiPen, these have a extra pump/handle on the side that you must press in order to fully inject the liquid inside.
The fluid inside the pen is very thick and needs the extra pressure to properly inject into your body.
Because this fluid is thick, it is also somewhat painful to inject.
But the Ring Sickness is completely gone entirely upon use.
They must be prescribed but are easier to get than the Pearlescent Prescriptions. This is due to their value as emergency scenario drugs.
However, in order to receive a new epipen, you must register when the last one was used and have the empty pen with you (for proof and proper disposal)
So far, this EpiPen is the only 100% cure for Ring Sickness.
This quick cure can come at a heavy price.
A individual can only use these EpiPens 3-4 times a week.
If that amount is crossed/over usage of these epipens
It can instantly cause:
- Heart Attack
- Stroke
- Brain Aneurysm
- Appendix Burst
- Stomach Cancer
- Hives
- Intense vomiting of blood and bile
- Disintegration of stomach organ
These EpiPens are for Emergency Use Only.
They are primarily used for medical emergencies that require ambulances to quickly pass through Rings.
Although some people illegally sell or distribute these epipens, it is advised that you do not use these unless there is a emergency.
-- -- --
Ring Sickness is still being studied and tested by Summit Labs and hope to one day find a cure for it entirely.
It is merely a "quirk" that the citizens of Jarbline City have become used to. Since it doesn't effect tourists, Summit Labs doesn't see a need to rush production of a cure.
Jarbline City merely lives with it.
[ That's all I got on this for right now! Might've missed some notes here or there but I can always update this post later heehoo ]
