Happy Januween*, chickens!
I’m surprised at how easy it is to get my grading done when I’m dressed as my vision of the Jade Key in Ready Player One. I had to keep brushing my green hair out of my eyes while I scrolled through your blogs.
Keep up the good work. Make sure your posts are ready to grade by Wednesday, and remember to comment on TWO of your colleagues’ posts.

*I know we claim that Januween is a longstanding tradition here at CSW, but it isn’t. Tell no one. In real life, this holiday is about two years old, and it should be a chance for you to imagine what it would be like to live in the same world as the characters in your summer reading books. Are there books that you wish you could jump into?
May I have a reading, please?
Of course! Invisibility came up for you. This card brought with it a definite sense of presence, with the empty-looking cloak seeming both emotive and animate. Almost like it's scolding, actually. I think it indicates that a change is coming, spiritually speaking, but its magnitude isn't yet determined. There's an undercurrent of personal upset to this card, so it might bring along an ego check of sorts. You might have to reconcile some of your perceptions and behaviors, but it's an opportunity to grow, so perhaps it'll be welcome.
Good luck!
Halloween Oracle readings are now closed.
Only a few left in my inbox, which I'll complete. Thanks for these, you all, they've been fun!
If ever you're in need of bigger, more personal readings, I've got a Storenvy for them at The Hare and Hearth. It's been a while since I mentioned that.Â
Could I have a card please? :)
You got the Graveyard, and it gave me an intense feeling of comfort.Â
Reminiscence time? When I was little, I felt the happiest and safest ambling through cemeteries. Sometimes wandering the small graveyard named after Lincoln on Memorial Day would be the only peace I really felt all year. They'd always make me sure that the world was all right, that things were as they should be, and that who I was would be enough. This is what the card is extending to you, an anchor to let you know that things will be okay. If you've been dealing with something difficult, you're going to get some respite, and you absolutely deserve it.
Hope this is helpful! It's so very cozy.

Yooo mind if I snag an oracle ? Every time you offer divinations I hop to it cuz you write it out like poetry :3 public is fine if you're up for it!
Hehehe you always make me so happy and blushy when you say such things. Snag away! ::this is when Wonkavision would be helpful::
You get the Cauldron, and I'll emphasize the hearth on which it rests. A necessary part of the home, some say. I can't stop imagining all the little chemical changes that go on there. Cooking, melting, mixing... And it's more than just fire that changes things. Tweak a recipe, change your experience, and then your body alters some. This is a time, I think, when you get to focus on crafting the kind of life you want. It might take some trial and error, but a bunch of small processes become big that way, and it can give you a grand sense of freedom and, let's be honest, power. I think you should embrace it. Maybe even experiment. It's yours, ya know?Â
Hi! Could I get a general reading? c:
Hi, Emmett! You betcha!
This is my favorite card so far. Apple. A hand cradles one against a cloudy sky seared by sunbeams, like a classic tarot Ace. The hand, or maybe the apple, bleeds a little. The fruit has a heart-shaped bite taken out of it, and there is an apple blossom clutched between the fingers. It's this seemingly impossible combination that strikes me the most. It makes me think of how our lives and relationships can become defined by habit and routine behaviors, which can be completely natural and balanced, or emphatically not. Shaking up an endless cycle could be really rewarding, if you're inspired to do so. I think things could change in a way you don't expect, like having a tree bearing fruit while in bloom, but this evolution brings you joy.Â
I hope it does. :)
May I get a Halloween reading?
You got The Veil. The deck describes this card as a representation of the thinning boundary between worlds and what can be learned from it. I find myself considering the way being blindfolded, as the figure in this card is, makes you focus differently. Now, I would say, is a time to let your senses guide you, and to trust your intuition when you can. It seems like you'd have some new and unique things to learn from it, if you can let go enough.
I hope this is helpful. Welcome, by the way!
