I think one of the biggest issues with ethical clothing consumption is that a decent chunk of people don’t want to have a static wardrobe that only gets a new piece once a year
Sure the mass produced shirt IS only $10 and that is affordable to more people, but if we were in a society that didn’t normalize mass consumption, a $100+ shirt made ethically would be a fine yearly purchase
