Can I ask! What is the most fascinating snail you've ever seen?
Ohhh... now that's a hard question to answer. I can't decide which one is the most fascinating, but here's a genus that's definitely high in the rankings: Janthina sp. AKA the violet snails, these guys create bubble rafts out of mucus and use them to skim the ocean's surface for succulent morsels. They're typically seen washed up on beaches in the aftermath of big storms.
Diagnosis: Janthina janthina Common name: Violet Sea Snail
