“Oh, shut up!” He whined, as Amy cackled in his face, catching him out on his flaw. “Just because I missed a page!”

“Aww,” She teased, “You didn’t understand it!”

“No, I didn’t.” Pouting at her, he tried to maintain his fierce expression, but failing at the sight of her happy expression, causing him to smile too, unable to resist. “Go away.”

“Stop sulking,” She rolled her eyes at him and gave him a small shove on the arm, “It’s not very manly.”

“Piss off.” Rolling his eyes, he decided that neither of them were walking fast enough, so grabbed her arm and started to speed up, causing her to moan and drag on it like a small child. But this did not deter him, and he dragged her along, ignoring her childish whining and pouting face.

“Amy, if you don’t start walking normally right this second, I’ll- I don’t know. I’ll do something.”

Lacing her fingers in with his, she stopped dragging her feet and caught up with him. However, she was scoffing, not in the least bit intimidated.

“That’s pathetic. At least think of something menacing.”

Considering this, the male cocked his head, a sly grin spreading across his face. Suddenly, knowing what he was capable of, Amy was extremely wary, but didn’t unlink her fingers from his. Her glasses started to slide down her nose, and she sighed, pushing them back up again and dragging a hand through her hair on the way back down.

“Where to next then?” She said, trying desperately to distract Jake from what he was probably planning, an evil smirk on his face.

“I can’t tell you,” He said, the smirk only widening. “But you’ll see soon enough.”

Yelping as she was suddenly tugged around a corner, Amy found herself in the middle of London. Gasping in awe, she barely had time to register where they were going before the colours of London had rushed by and they were in Hyde Park.

“Wow.” She managed to get out. “It’s… Really pretty.”

“I know,” He grinned at her from the side, betraying a flicker of nervousness. “The autumn makes everything prettier, don’t you think?”

And it really had. The grass was maintaining the beautiful jade green of hydration, yet the leaves were starting to cover the ground in a blanket of browns and reds. It really was beautiful.

“Yeah,” She smiled, turning to look him in the eye and taking his other hand. Slowly, she leant forward and kissed him, briefly but surely, and looked up into his eyes, but upon seeing that they were closed in disbelief, laughed quietly and let a smile spread across her face. Eyelids flickering open, Jake stared back at her, mirroring her smile, looking back into her own amber-brown eyes.
