Also please picture how it starts. Like, Bart’s totally not used to anything and it’s all completely new experiences for him because, come on, since when has he ever had time for this at all and also he really just hasn’t cared up until he meets Jaime. And then he realizes that kissing is great and touching each other is fantastic and Jaime’s skin is always really, really, warm which is so nice when his hands grab at his back or hips.

He doesn’t mean to, honestly. Like, Bart has no idea he’s literally vibrating until Jaime’s gasping, pulling away, because having the entirely of Bart’s front pushed up against him as he starts to buzz is VERY overwhelming. Not in a bad way, but in a way that’s holy-shit-my-boyfriend-is-a-living-vibrator sort of way.

They totally work with it.

After a point Jaime has to actually tell him that vibrating while giving blowjobs is not allowed because he comes so fast it’s embarrassing. Bart still does it when they’re in a hurry or someone might catch them.

He’s gotten really good at controlling it, but whenever he’s really into it or about to come, he totally forgets himself and just keeps vibrating so much and spurring Jaime on and honestly Jaime knows he’s totally screwed for any sort of normal sex now.

The question comes out of the blue; out of the dark technically. With Jaime barely awake but getting there as those four words filter into his brain.

"What?" He asks, groggy as he sits up still mostly asleep looking at Bart who's cross legged beside him on top of the covers. It should probably worry him that Bart shouldn't be in his room in the first place. Probably.

"Do you like me?" Comes the repeated question, "I know most people don't. I know they pretend."

Jaime blinks. "Bart?"

He's sitting in what appears to be pajamas, long pants and a tank top. There's no shoes on his feet. Jaime can only imagine what they looked like before his healing caught up to them. Still, Jaime isn't worried about his placement or state. Bart is Bart. It happens sometimes.

"Like, I know not everyone has to like you. But I think a lot of them don't. And I don't need to be liked but...but it'd be nice."

Jaime's waking up. Jaime's processing.

Bart's just staring at the wall, looks like he's analyzing the posters hanging on it. "I know I'm annoying. I know I just forced myself in."

"I like you, Bart." Jaime says after a while, after the silence wants to swallow them.

"You don't have to lie."

"I'm not. But you are annoying sometimes. Everyone is." In the dark, Bart tenses. Jaime sighs. "I wouldn't change it though."

After a second, Bart turns, finally, to look at him. Even in the dark, his eyes seem to be too bright for the room. "Why not?"

"Because," Jaime says, flopping back down onto his pillows. "You wouldn't be you without it. I like you. Just...just you."

There's a long, long, second before Bart is sliding down beside him in bed. He curls up a little too tight still on top of the covers. Jaime doesn't have the energy to complain. He doesn't have the heart. He wants Bart to spread out, to get comfortable.

"Thanks," Bart whispers after a while, after Jaime figures he thinks he fell asleep again.

Jaime doesn't reply. Instead, he grabs for Bart's hand in the dark, curls his fingers around it and squeezes once. Just a reminder. Just a your welcome. Just I'm here.
