okay so the thing about putting Gears in a saw trap is that his life is already a 24/7 saw trap where he's constantly balancing the lives and safety of several people. Whether he's 19's director or head of keter containment he's under a lot of pressure and always in severe physical danger. I feel like as a child, Founder would put him in saw trap like contraptions in order to test him, because he's raising Gears to someday take the Overseer One position. So if anything escaping a Saw trap is the one thing he's qualified to do. If i were to design a saw trap to test him i'd poison him and then make him go to a pharmacy and ask them to double check in the back if they have the antidote without getting scared and leaving. I dont think he'd be able to do it

I do like this. Ignoring dysphoria and cutting the mold off the food before you eat it... And the house has always been a woman! The house is literally Gears's dysphoria that she's built a cage for herself out of!! Good ask, hall of fame.
