Let me tell you, you are not ready for the absolute perfection of his casting as Charlie Green.

Misia Butler: Stanley Forbes

Perfect. I literally have no notes besides him being perfect. He looks exactly how I wanted him to be. I'm not exactly familiar with Misia but I think he'll do an excellent job.

Also, he was born in 2001??? HE'S A BABY. HE'S THE SAME AGE AS JAMIE IS IN THIS SEASON. OH IT'S GONNA HURT SO BADLY SEEING HIM THIS SEASON 😭

Eden H. Davies (Eden Hambelton-Davies): Jamie Reynolds

Okay, I do have a mixed opinion regarding this.

I think Eden seems like a lovely guy who will do an excellent job at playing Jamie. However, I'm not a fan of another plus-sized character being erased. Jamie was chubby in the books! This was such a core part of his story cause it added a lot on the dynamic between him and his father. It really sucks that another plus-sized character has been erased.

Again, I don't hate Eden. I really like him and think he's sweet. I think he'll do an amazing job either way. It just sucks a little that we've lost another plus-sized character. I do see the resemblance between him and Jude, but I really wish he was still plus-sized. I'm choosing to trust Holly, because she seems to really love Eden, so I'm just hoping that Jamie's storyline has been written in a way that will satisfy all.

Jack Rowan: Charlie Green

Again, no notes. He is perfect. I know some people are upset that he's not ginger like in the books, but it doesn't really matter. I didn't even imagine him as a ginger. Him being brunette still isn't going to stop him from shooting Stanley six times.

Not familiar with Jack, but I have seen some photos from past shows he's done and he looks perfect for Charlie. He has that sweet, unsuspecting look that Charlie needs until the end of ggbb.

And he's so cute, too. How can you expect me to be mad at him? Might just start defending Charlie even more just because Jack is such a cutie. This year (if it is actually coming out this year) will be the year I unapologetically defend Charlie Green on the reason that he had every right to want Stanley dead, even if Stanley was forced to take his sister by his father. You really expected him to change his perspective in seconds? I understand, even if I don't condone it.
