I love hearing Jack talk to her students when you fight in Grissom Academy because you can really see the huge difference a few months have made. She no longer says things like "I will destroy you" because her goal is no longer to project all her pain on her enemies. Killing is now the consequence of a fight, not the primary objective. She's all about protecting and it shows, because she's patient (in her own way) and constantly giving advice, like telling Rodriguez to please watch her barrier!!!!
I've said this a thousand times before but I always admire people who can turn their suffering into hope. Hope for the future, hope for themselves. Shepard helped Jack, but the hard work was all her. There’s this in-between before we find her again where I’m sure it must have been so hard being on her own and having to fight a different fight than the one she’s used to. But in the end, there she is. A kind teacher who is beloved by her students, someone who really understands how to help and guide them. I’m really proud of her.
