You woke up feeling nauseous. Your breasts had been feeling sensitive for the past couple of days. "Oh no," you whispered to yourself. You knew what this must mean. You and Jack had slept together a couple of times, but you thought you had been careful. How on earth were you going to break the news to him? And what about the rest of the camp? Yes, it hadn't been a secret that you and Jack had become sort of a thing over the past couple of weeks, but still, this was no small news.
After sitting in your hut for about an hour, stressing about what Jack would say when you would break the news to him, you decided to go and look for him.
He was discussing something with Hurley and Saywer when you found him. You scratched your throat to let them know you were there. "Erm, Jack?" He looked up at you. "What?" He sounded quite irritated, probably because he was discussing a serious matter. "I... nevermind, it can wait," you smiled awkwardly and turned around to walk away. Jack hesitated to stand up and follow you. "Dude, she obviously has something on her mind," said Hurley. "Go after her, man!" Jack nodded and got up. "Y/N, wait! What's the matter?" Your eyes were already filled with tears. You looked anxiously down at your feet. "I... Jack, I'm not feeling well." "What is it? Do you have a fever? Do you need to lie down? Let me get you some water." "No," you stopped him. "Jack, I'm pregnant." His eyes widened. "You're... really? Are you sure?" "Yes." A tear rolled down your cheek. "I'm sorry, I don't know how it happened, well, I do know, I just didn't know it would happen and I... I don't know what to do." Jack wiped the tears from your cheeks. "Shh, it's all right. We'll figure it out." He took your small hands into his big hands. You looked up at him. "So... you're not angry at me?" He smiled. "No, not at all. I mean, this island is not the most convenient place to have a baby, but we'll be all right." You smiled. "Really," he said, "we will be okay." He took you safely into his arms and kissed your head.
