Whiplash
Miles Teller and J.K. Simmons crush this film to bits. And I could go on and on about their performances and whatnot, but that's not what's got my heart racing and me re-watching the final 9 minutes of the film. The performance at the end is just a beautiful sequence. In fact, from the moment Teller walks onto the stage, it's a perfect exchange between him and Simmons until the credits roll. Gosh, I want to gush so much, but that would be a bit spoiler-y. Just watch it. The whole film is fantastic.
