J-Vlogger stands for "Japanese Vlogger" (vlogger standing for "video blogger", and is a term used on YouTube), and over the years quite a few people have started popping up on YouTube making videos relating to Japan. Ā <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/jJXEqY9-ZB8?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Ā Some of the bigger games include people like Gimmeaflakeman, Hikosaemon, ThatJapaneseGirl, and PhilipZeplin, and while they all make videos about Japan, they all have somewhat different themes. For instance, Gimmeaflakeman has a video series called "Japanese for Morons", and calls himself "The King of Morons", whereas people like PhilipZeplin usually makes videos about Tokyo related topics, and is more themed towards young people interested in Japan. A few years ago, there used to be quite few, maybe just around 20 or so. But over the last one or two years, that list has now grown to hundreds of "J-Vloggers", all varying in size, topic, and so on. Of course, this is not just a trend in this particular niche on YouTube, overall the community there has grown tremendously over the years. Of course, that also means a lot more competition for your YouTube channel, which is probably one of the reasons services like HowToRankOnYouTube seem to be launching. There are a lot of really good channels to check out, and a wealth of videos, so if you're interested in Japan, I would recommend that you have a little look on YouTube to see what's around.
