Have you ever missed someone so much you can feel the ache in every part of your body? Your lips miss their kiss. Your fingertips miss tousling their hair. You eyes miss their sweet face. You feel empty, and the worst part is that you don’t know when you will be whole again. That’s the rollercoaster of distance. You both burn so brightly and without abandon when together, but you fizzle hard when you inevitably must walk away. You ache for when you will meet again and the fire will roar again so quickly it reminds you both of fireworks. It is worth it though, the ache and the fire. You are reminded that you are alive and you will stay alive until you can hold them without walking away.
