Intermediate Artists, what is something you feel like it's hard to learn cause there are no tutorials for it?
I feel like there ARE some intermediate tutorials on yt that CAN be considered intermediate but on very specific things. The only thing I feel like you easily find is anatomy.

Update on the ibis paint situation. I'm genuinely so heartbroken but my ibis paint won't work. It won't open even after 4 days. I've tried clearing the cache, but it won't let me. I've restarted my phone, everything is up to date, I have storage, I've updated Google chrome, I've done everything I could. Even when the app is closed, it will randomly pop up and say "ibis paint x is not responding". If anyone knows any other methods, PLEASE tell me, or if anyone knows WHY this is happening please tell me.
Unless it magically works by Friday, four years worth of art are gonna be deleted and it's mortifying.
Genuinely my heart is aching Lowkey.
I have over 400 pieces in there, nothing is really backed up except for the stuff I've posted in the past.
The progress I've made, the speed paints, the phases will all be gone with that app and I think what scares me most is seeing the progress I made over 4 years disappear, it's disheartening to say the least
Idk what to do anymore.

Being artist is hard
I have a question for other artists here. How do people paint so fast?! It takes me anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months to finish a single piece. I genuinely don't understand how some creators manage to post a brand new finished artwork every single day.It makes me feel like there is something wrong with me, or like I'm moving at a snail's pace. Does anyone else struggle with this? How long does it usually take you to finish a detailed piece?

So there was talk recently about sharing art from other artists and as someone who works professionally in art for my day job, it’s so important to not re-upload art that does not belong to you unless you have permission from the artist. Preferably you would link to their portfolio or blog too.
Part of the problem is that no matter what you intended, you have taken likes, comments, and views from that artist and given them to yourself, and that is ENTIRELY disrespectful to them.
Putting the artists name is just not enough to cover yourself - you should be asking anyways, and linking if possible. Please be aware of the impact this has on artists and please ALWAYS ask permission and don’t steal.
Edit: I should note this is a broad statement. I happened to see a discussion around it and wanted to share my thoughts as a person whose entire living wage is art.
