Right! So! Lara Fletcher needs a new aspiration since I just passively got past the money making one. I’m thinking...she’s suddenly feeling the pressure of her daughter. And wanting her to enjoy the outside with her. So I feel like the best aspiration to combo for that is Successful Lineage. ...aww man. Can’t force a gal to skill build gardening or work out. Man! I guess Izzy is just going to cry in her room to manage her hurt moodlet. And then write in a journal.

Ooo, since Cameron’s asleep, I suppose we can work from home today with Lara. Dabble with Circuit Boards and Design New Computer Hardware. Might as well! Just as the work from home stuff is finished, Cameron is up and at em! And we have a wind generator in need of repair!

Right! Next goals involve finding metals. I am likely going to have to have a wander around Windenburg’s various bits and bobs first to see about collectables. ...and we got one from the rock pile outside our house! Nice! And suspiciously convenient ...went over to a dirt pile and got an electronic component. Veeeeery convenient… Ohp. Cameron has work so off he shall go.

And he’s a party animal as well. ...should really set her up with liking Funny Sims. And you know what? I reference that one post on the Sims forums enough. It’s time to make my own document of Social Compatibility, so I don’t have to keep constantly running online for it.

Right! After that long break of sorting out information, it’s time to go to the library! Izzy’s whim is still related to her aspiration but alas, we have done our homework. It’s time to study! And research! Might as well head to the local library for that! And who’s also there but her father! Reading his own Theoretical Electronics book. (Man I picked such a good Sim for this event) ...having said that, it seems like it’s one of those ones where I have to go to base game, and then such, Willow Creek for this. TO WILLOW CREEK!

Theoretical Electronics read, it’s just the ingredient list for the time travel device. Could have done this first before getting the odds and ends but eh. Also we still need one metal so that’ll be his goal...once he gets more sleep.

...so what the heck to do with Izzy then? I’m thinking...perhaps an arcade visit? But I don’t have any dedicated arcades. Only bowling alleys with arcades in them. But hey, that’ll do. Ah, literally one of the only reasons I pop by Magnolia Promedade is that there is a bowling alley bar there. Anyway, let’s return home and get Izzy to bed. Let Cameron pick up the metal and then...time travel component! Annd created it looks like we’re going to be done this week!

...hey you know what we don’t have as a career track for the Sims? Game dev. We have freelance programming work for games but not actual game development career. Granted, that’s rather unsteady work...anyway, things I think of as I have Lara make a game of her own.

Glimmerbrook: The Watkins household moved out.

Right! Teen up! Need gets her needs managed before school. And gets in a focused mood. Cameron home. Cameron eat cereal and collapse into bed. Night shift, all that jazz. (Don’t ask what he was doing at said night shift… Setting up Izzy to make friends at school because otherwise, it’s going to be an age before she gets that teen to teen relationships going.

Lara wants to chat with Belle Brandt, another adopted townie so time to invite her over and ah, Belle’s a fellow co-worker. Good to know!

...OH HOLY SHIT IT’S GEEKCON! We have Geeks here! Man! Shame about that limited time event! It’s distracting from nerd stuff!

But on the other hand, Belle went straight for the robotics workbench! And Lara can mentor in that skill. Thus do we fulfill the whim of becoming friends! Annnd Lara could work from home but let’s send her off to work. Eyes will be on Cameron!

Right, Izzy is back and now it’s time to make teen friends! We have Estrella Locke, random teen. Has a hairstyle that's similar to Siobhan Fyres and is also black sooo, hard not to think of them as similar. Billie Jang, and Tim Malloy, Sim I made! Oh and Sofia Bjgersen. But rivalry with the Bgjgersen’s! Rivalry! But that’s for off-screen and later. For now- Mangolia Blossom!

What a guy. Alright, finally time for me to talk about Emit for all of the uninitiated. Emit was a sim in the Sims 3 expansion, Into the Future. It’s one where the actions you take as a Sim currently could change the future, and a future world. Evidently, there are some items missing he’s inquiring about.

… I would stay and make friends but alas, time to chat with others and get out of the thunderstorms! Friend group! Let’s meet up somewhere where there’s a roof over our heads!

I can’t believe I’m getting reasons to keep chatting with folks outside of the household. Amazing. Anyway, Lara, Charity and Naoki talk with Cameron on what was missing. Naoki is missing a huge cake, Lara had a friend missing a "caliente" dress, and Charity...didn’t notice anything gone. Well well! Mystery abounds! Next step is to try something familiar...play a familiar game… yeah we’re literally going to have Cameron play the Sims. Or rather, the Sims Archives! Totally not the Sims Forever, which already exists in game. Either or, Cameron and Lara are going to enjoy their drinks first before heading home.

Right, it seems that on the Sims Archives, we see some sort of strange footage of someone burying a capsule of some sort...and we just get the feeling, the urge, that this capsule is still out there! And so it is time to dig! In the dirt! And you want to know something good? There’s quite a few dirt piles around here in Windenburg Isle! In fact, there’s a rock right outside our door? Could it be that serendiptious? ...yes indeed it is! We have a time capsule...with an IOU inside? Someone saying that they have no time to explain...but they need some items. -dramatic gasp- Emit! Emit! We got clues!

...this is reminding me that I wanted to get that relationship buff and debuff sorted for this file. Testing it in an alt file had made me go “Oh nice!” or “Aww” on all the relationship changes.

It’s time to go see Emit and I guess we’re doing it at the park. Please don’t be stormy. It isn’t stormy! And now we are to accuse 3 sims of being a time traveler. Well now. First things first though. Before I end this session, I want make friends with Emit. And thankfully we are at a chess table! Spamming chess until we are friends! Oh! And we got a Self-Assured trait offer with our chess wins. Might as well take that!

Ohp. Lottery day. Might as well purchase tickets. And- aha! Teen! Teen Rahul Chopra! Perhaps you are a time traveler Rahul! No? No time but only the present? Philosphical but not what I want. Right, friend made. Time to go home and time for me to take a break.

So we’re with Lara then! 3 hours until work and it’s time for her to regain her passion for it and try to clear off her fear of a dead end job. You’re at tops of the career baby, I ain’t moving you off of it. Still wants to plant something so another jog shall do ...annnd she needs some sleep but it’s just before work. You know what? Sleep replacement potion. Anyway, a quick shower and then off to work.

...huh. Izzy is already a B student. Nice. Anyway, came from school exhausted so let’s snooze it off. Oh! And let’s let her join the chess team. Oo, gets to know Molly and others on the team but also a rival team member in Aurelio Robles. ...who honestly feels more like an arts kid than any other club but hey. Anyway, friendships with Estrella, Bille, and Tim first and foremost.

Friends with Estrella, who we found out is a Cat Lover and on the football team. And we gain a crush on Billie Jang, goofball. Good to know. Good to know! Hehe

Aww, dad joined in the teen talk and I was going to have him acuse the teens of being time travelers but alas! Instead we shall go...to the bar! Ooo, military person Cameron Boykin. Totally a time traveler.

It’s also ghost night so lets chat up a nearby ghost! Ghosts can be time-travelers too, yeah? Totally. Nothing says time-traveler like a ghost. Literally remaining so long after their deaths and such.

Hmm, it seems like just randomly accusing Sims of time-travel isn’t working out! We are evidently next to go to a shower, bathtub, or toilet to ponder next steps.

Anyway, this is very much going to be a hi-bye sort of scenario! I wanna get Izzy off to school! So we’ll get to know Tetsuya and then head home. By the by, he’s a bro and Cameron doesn’t care for Spirited Sims, which a bro definitely is.

Anyway, we’re at school, doing the school things! Ooooo, I’m picking her locker next to Savannah’s. We’ll see if she ever shows up. (Likely not, since I actually played with that family, alas) Lunch time and...no goals to chat with students or faculty. Huh. Well, might as well say hi to Tim and Molly, since they’re both here. Oh that explains it. Career day is happening. What a first day to drop into school with, huh?

Career Day doesn’t offer much for Izzy. I already have a job in mind for her! Ever since she studied on the science table, she wanted to be a Scientist! Or biologist. That was my first idea and I think Scientist is the best option for it.

Anyway, some more chatter with Tim, since he’s also here, reveals he too, is a goofball. Izzy has found herself within the pranksters. Oh what fun! Anyway, chess today so to that she goes.

Alright, nap for Lara and snooze for Cameron since he has work. Oh! And Izzy came back from chess with an outfit. Why don’t I modify it and add the top to everyday? For the days when people wear their formal outfits in school.

Let’s see...what Izzy wants to do is check Simpedia and then play chess. Well, we can totally do that...but before chess, let’s read! Our aspiration, Renaissance Sim, wants reading! So reading!

Hmm. Might want to change the aspiration though. Since we’re aboslutely going to Uni, we can start with that aspiration, or… yeah, Goal Oriented. That one is way too good of a teen aspiration. Anyway, bed for her.

Uhhh, still have outdoor-sy wants for Lara and unfortunately, stormy. Uhhh, read a book in a storm? Before you need to snooze? Yeah that’ll do. Snooze time so it’s time for-!

Lucha Harjo in the Harjo household has died. Shockingly, Lucha botched a repair and was electrocuted.

...Mm! That’s a family to take off the death counter quick! Don’t like having only teens in households.

Sione Akana in the Akana household has died. Sione was milking it and got too close to a cowplant.

So I went out to the bar and had a drink. A small chat, because Noel had to rush off to the toilet soon after. He entertained and made small talk with the bartender and fellow patrons, waiting for her to return but Noel didn’t. Alas. His next whim was to watch comedy on tv and well, there is one right there. And then the other after was to enjoy a game of cards which we also have right there and likely because it’s on lot. Anyway, Simeon Silversweater spotted and I know a fellow geek when I spy one! (Because you can use the clubs to filter out those with similar traits.) So after a quick trip to the restroom, a game of cards was in order! I did try to hold Simeon a little longer but by the time I wanted to ask him to hang out for longer, he was already out the door and no other options were available. Well enough of the being social! It’s time to work on the logic skill! And humorously, there are chess tables just out and about in Windenburg’s square. Along with a chess topiary. I just decided to wait and see if someone else would swipe in for a chess table before sliding in myself. And indeed I did! It’s Testuya Otomo again! A person who also gained logic more for the career advancement than the chess itself. He’s sad so I’m assuming someone he knew died. Anyway, the chat still seemed to go fine. Played a prank, didn’t mind, as much. So next I decided to get a quick work out at the gym before going home. MEANING IT’S TIME FOR-

Anyway, last day and it’s 3PM, we’re continuing onwards! Izzy is sleepy but we must continue onwards! At the very least we must finish the first stage of your motor aspiration. Because I have so much trouble getting kids into emotional moodlets sometimes. To Hare Square! Where there totally will not be a certain bunch of kids, including the one Izzy is rivals with. Honestly, nothing much happened though. She played on the gym, she ate some food and then she was still super tired so Izzy went home to retire to bed. Izzy goes to bed, Cameron goes to bed. Lara will soon have to go to bed and SO WILL I! Man, I’m sleepy. What I get for going “ooh, there’s only three or so days left, let’s finish them up!” And then it took hours. Also I eternally wish that I could just flop into bed and fall asleep like the Sims folks.

Alright, Cameron’s up at it’s 2:30AM. We got until 5AM to do things with this guy. Let’s see, it’s partially cloudy. Stars would likely be mostly hidden but moon is up there. Let’s look up at the sky and- OH GOD THE GREEN IS EVERYWHERE! Aurora borealis of the green eco-friendliness why do you doom me!? And so we end this session with Cameron gazing up at the stars.
