Asking this as a second question because I respect you as a person and you in no way need to answer if this would make you uncomfortable or is too personal. Thank you for reading this either way:
The other day you mentioned that you have been through chest reduction/ top surgery. It might have actually been that day or the night before that my letter informing me that my insurance has approved my FtM top surgery.
In my case, unfortunately, I have a huge chest, though I believe you mentioned suffering the same? I was curious if you had any pointers for the surgery/after?
I have CFSIDS/ME so a fragile body as well and since you have boldly gone before I thought maybe asking is worth a shot?
Again, no need to answer if you are uncomfortable, I completely respect that! But thank you so much for any answer and just for reading. =)
Button Up Shirts. Loose Button Up Shirts, Have Them Ready. also lots of pillows, and if you can swing it it might be a good idea to stay with someone who can look after you and help with your drains. and get some plain cotton undershirts that will fit snuggly post op, while theyre healing your scars will be sensitive and having the undershirt will keep things from rubbing weird. but like, this is for once the doc says its ok to lift your arms again.
also go aroumd your house and move everything that you might need to where you can reach it while doing the little trex hand thing. you won't be able to lift your arms a lot for a bit so this is Very important
I can't give a lot of more specific pointers on the post op recovery side of things tho. I didn't know i had eds when i had the surgery so my recovery was rough and i had to get my stitches put back in twice because i just wasnt healing. this is an Extremely uncommon complication that in my case was caused by my eds.
but bc of that mess i spent the first 3 ish weeks after surgery medicated and barely conscious. But i did get a 1240 on my sats which i took 4 days post op. so i think that means i was doing ok.
Good luck!!! sorry i couldn't be more help lol
