Ahhh thank you so much for remembering my old AU <3 I was working on it 5-6 years ago, and think I've come a long way as a creator since, but working on it was still extremely formative for me, and it still holds a special pace in my heart. Especially that AU's version of Xanatos, haha!

I have yet to read the new novel on Dooku, but it's definitely on my list! This is my first time hearing about Rael Averross, and I'm definitely super intrigued! I'll keep him in mind whenever I get to the book!

It took 34 days of diligent daily posting, but all of it's finally up there! Ngl I'm really glad I'm done bc despite not having to create new content, it was still very time consuming, but I'm glad it's complete now!

For those who don't know, the Star Wars Age Squash AU, or SWASAU, was my enormous project baby the last time I was in the Star Wars fandom back in 2016. It's comprised of a massive, fic-length headcanons post, comics, and some art.

The entirety of the AU is on Tumblr, but because it played such a major role in my development as both an artist and storyteller, I wanted it up on AO3 as well.

While uploading onto AO3, I divided each part into easy to navigate and clearly labeled chapters, and gave every segment a rough edit, and even added some things I forgot to put in the original posts!

This AU is complete as is, and I'm not going to create any more content for it. But I do think there's enough stuff there for a good few hours of entertainment! And even if it's older and dated, I'm still fond of it, and hope its new home can help it reach some more readers again, both new and old alike ^ ^

I've started posting the AU on AO3! It'll start with the text headcanons broken into each segment (20 parts...which were previously on one 20K+ long text post...*wince* so sorry to everyone whose phones crashed...!), then the cover illustrations, then the comics!

All of this content should come out to be around 32 chapters, so I'll update when I can, probably every day or every other day depending on when I have time ^ ^;;

Thanks so much for liking my work! I uh, tend to overthink everything and tend to be incapable of doing simple AUs ^ ^; I feel a lot of content consumers tend to prefer artists who don’t talk and produce simple pretty pictures, so thank you for taking the time to read through my craptons of text and give my story a shot too. I spent a long time plotting the SWASAU before even posting it and spent quite a large chunk of last year working on it, so I’m really glad you enjoyed what I have of it! Thanks for coming to tell me ❀(*´∀`*)❀

As for if I’ll continue it? Who knows. I may come back to it if I feel like it and I don’t have more pressing projects, or I may not. My motivation to work on it was drying up a bit as I got distracted by other projects. While I am certainly not blaming my audience, that AU was definitely targeting a very tiny niche of a niche audience and it was very hard to stay motivated with the limited interaction I was getting from it vs. output effort ^ ^; Now I’m in a whole new fandom, working on an equally if not more complex AU that I feel much more invested in, has a incredibly generous and responsive audience, and hopefully shows greater improvement of my art. I am absolutely incapable of multi-tasking when it comes to AUs of this scope, so I hope you understand my need to focus on this current project, and hope you can support my growth as an artist even if it is not for the project that you are invested in ^ ^;
