You ask this of my two trolls who both have missing limbs. 

Ghiren sawed her own arm off and Izinal lost his to the helm. I’m pretty sure that counts! 

(Дﾟ≡ﾟДﾟ): When they are surprised by somebody do they physically jump? Scream?

Ghiren whirls around and slaps a shithead in the face. And depending how little she likes them, may in fact mind control them out of her space and force them to walk in a straight line for awhile. 

Izinal probably straight up flails, screaming, possibly falling over because he’s not used to his limbs yet, and like. Turning around and laughing awkwardly. 

(〇o〇；): What is their body language like when they are stressed? Do they try and hide the fact that they are stressed? How do they recover from said stress?

It’s a little hard to tell with Ghiren honestly. She’s already reserved and quiet normally, but if she’s stressed out, she probably straight up looks sicker. She’s got bigger bags under her eyes, because she’s sleeping even worse than normal. She’s probably rubbing her face a bit more and fidgeting pretty often with just about anything. She does try to hide it, but usually, she just needs a good hug. Usually from the ‘sprit. 

FA: Oh well it’s no secret I don’t leave my hive. That counts I suppose. I get rather nervous when I do. 

VC: Oh I don’t know if it really counts as being scared, but I guess maybe not finding out who I was before the helm before I die. Though I don’t know if that’s really scary to me because I think I’d just be disappointed.

Real talk tho Izinals first inception as an OC was as an abra gijinka for this stupidly long Pokemon fanfiction I never wrote. This is, incidentally, the fanfiction Ferra, and their shared quad mate emerged from as well

laughs with these two, all of my trolls who have lost a quad to back story have all been covered. 

Izinal doesn’t really think about quads a lot. He’s aware that it’s a thing that’s missing from his life, but his grasp on personhood is tenuous at best, so he never quite connects that absence with an actual desire to fill it. 

He did used to have a matesprit on Alternia who doted on him. They were pretty young. It was a puppy love kind of thing, but they worked well together. When Izinal got helmed, he forgot about him along with everything else. He kind of still remembers his name, so something he’d like to change is probably remembering all of who Saiyal was.

Seftis is Wrecked lmao. He’s got no quads filled right now and a definite aversion to touch on account of him being dead and also his dead being contagious. 

It’s both a relief and a source of loneliness that he doesn’t have a quad anymore, since his kismesis died in the fight that killed him the first time around. Seftis is very much Not Over it, no matter how much he pretends that he is. It’s been a few perigees. 

Seftis desperately wishes he wasn’t a zombie drinker hybrid or whatever he is, because then maybe he could get a quad and then he’d be less lonely. Instead he’s just running around a mountain range paranoid of touching stuff and of getting touched, and is pretty convinced that no one in their right mind would ever get in a quad with him.
