why ruruka killed izayoi
its kinda hard to explain tbh..
first she has really big trust issues (thats why she never trusted seiko) she thought one way or another that izayoi would betray her because he knew her NG code. and she said she could never take it if he betrayed her. like it would hurt her more than him just dying. it was unbearable for her to just think he has a chance of betraying her. so she made the choice to betray him before he can betray her. i guess she wanted him to die while he still loves her while everything was still okay between them and before he would betray her. and he understood. thats why he said βthis isnt betrayal. its okayβ
maybe the fact that seiko died shortly before that really messed with her. seiko died before they could make up.
in the end it was still kinda stupid. but considering this situation is just messed up in general and makes people do things they would never do under normal circumstances (look at munakata) you can kinda follow her thoughts. she was crying while killing him (and while thinking about it too) you can see she didnt kill him without feeling anything. she just had this really REALLY big fear of betrayal.
i wish it was different but well its dangan ronpa after all.
ok can someone write me a fanfiction where izayoi stops ruruka from killing him and he convinces her that he would never ever betray her and then THEY LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER because i need that
