Imagine being lost in the woods during a mission with Bellamy and scaring him out of his mind

“Hey, Bell look at this mushroom, it’s so weird!” you said as you observed the woods for the first time since coming down from the ark. “Y/N can you please keep up.. It’ll be dark soon I don’t want to be out here when it gets dark as it isn’t safe for you..” Bellamy said making his way through the dense woods.

You guys were looking for Finn’s bunker as Bellamy left some supplies hidden there for when he’ll be needing them.

“Bell! Look at this flower! It’s so beautiful.” You said as you picked it from the ground. You’ve been walking through the woods without paying any mind to Bellamy. “Bell…” you called out as no reply came from his side.. “Bell!!!” you called again louder this time still no reply. “Bell, please!! I’ll be careful! You can come out now!!” you said as you assumed he might be hiding in the woods nearby to teach you a lesson as you weren’t listening to him. You made a run for it as soon as you heard some rustling in the bushes nearby.

“ I didn’t say you should seal your mouth, just to pay attention,” Bellamy said over his shoulder as it’s been a while and there was no word from your side.. In-fact it was a little too quiet for his liking… When he got no witty remark, he turned around to see if you were okay when he realized that you not being there at all was the reason for that silence. “Y/N!!” Bell called out, no reply came and he knew you were lost on the way.

It was getting dark now and Bellamy was worried sick for you as a million different scenarios played through his mind of what could’ve happened to you. What if the grounders caught you? He heard a twig snap nearby and quickly became alert as it could be anything; a grounder, a wild animal or maybe you. As soon as the possibility of it being you crossed his mind his feet automatically moved him towards the source of the sound behind the tree trunk.

As soon as he saw Y/H/C behind the tree he immediately hugged you shocking you at first but as soon as you realized who it was you just melted into his arms. You could feel how worried he was by how strongly he hugged you, keeping you so close that you could feel his racing heartbeat. He quietly held you like that until his heart-beat calmed down. He moved back a little just enough to get a good look at your face in the moonlight, still not letting go of you. “Are you okay? You aren’t hurt, are you?” you could see the worry in his eyes. “I’m sorry Bell… I should’ve listened to you,” you said as soon as he realized how shaken you were by the incident he knew you needed to relax. he grabbed your arm and took you to the bunker which wasn’t far. “Why are we here? Shouldn’t we head back to the camp? Everyone would be waiting for….” “Hush.. and sit,” Bell ordered you as he moved around the bunker like he knew the place like the back of his hand. You took a seat on the bed as Bell returned to your side with a cotton swab with some liquid on it, he took your arms and started cleaning your elbows that’s when you realized that you’ve hurt them badly on your search for Bellamy.

After carefully cleaning and dressing your wounds, he stared at you without saying a word maybe he was analyzing you for any other injuries or maybe he was wondering when you were gonna apologize for making him worry and for not listening to him. You decided to apologize to him but when you looked up into his eyes you saw something you’ve never seen before, there were so many different emotions swirling in those brown eyes of his which made you completely speechless all that came out of your mouth were stutters of nonsense.

“Bell… I…..I…..” you couldn’t get the words out. You tried again but before you could get a word out Bellamy pressed his lips to yours. Sparks started flying in your mind you could feel butterflies in your stomach. It was like nothing you’ve ever felt before, you felt like there was nothing in this world but you two it felt like an eternity was enclosed within that minute. But that’s all it really was a minute. Your eyes were closed you could still feel his lingering breath on your lips. You wanted nothing more than to have his lips back to yours.
