Kacper had always hated going to the doctor, especially after everything went to shit and he started to focus himself more on inflicting physical pain on himself trough ‘accidents’ or ‘taking his work out too far’ rather than having to feel the emotional pain that he has tried years to bury. 

However, even he sometimes saw reason in going there, after Waverly had forced him to Eli for his broken hand, he had taken an interest in the particular doctor, not minding going to visit him as he didn’t seem to be able to push the doctors buttons too easily, which Kacper always saw as a challenge. 

Today he had a check up of said broken hand, the one he had broken after not being able to keep his emotions down, not that he had admitted that to the doctor of course, simply citing it as a ‘workout gone too far’ incident. 

“Hello doc.” Kacper stated as he walked in, his casted hand hurting pretty much as he had been overworking himself ever since the storm, cleaning up for as long as he could before practically collapsing. He’d found it was a good way to hurt himself, but also to be able to avoid people. He’d pretty much gotten to piss off most people on the island, which was good but it also left him very lonely. which meant he started seeking out the company of a few people even more: Alina, Waverly and the good doctor. “I’m here for my check up.” he followed up his previous statement, before plomping down in the nearest chair.

His all-time, pick-no-other band is the Pixies, mostly because his mom raised him on them. There’s a picture of Tara and two-year-old Noah at a concert of theirs, sitting on the grass. Noah’s collecting clover flowers and Tara’s got a beer.

But his favorite song is Someday, by The Strokes.

And he can’t pick a musical genre, even if you held a gun to his head. He’s too fickle.

who would be the big spoon? Ekaterina if she’s dominating, but it’s interchangeable. Generally 

who would wake up first? They would wake up together, as they’re both early risers, though Eli make slip away quickly to enjoy the early morning, Ekaterina spends her time reading, writing or sketching.

do they have nicknames for each other? If aliases count then, yes. Eli is already a nickname, and Erica is Ekaterina’s.

what happened when they met each other’s parents? This is never going to happen.

how do they apologize after an argument? Quiet discussion, and apologies pretty much right after either of them think they’ve hurt the other.

what would they be like as parents? They would not. It would never happen. Ever. No.

who is the better cook? I feel as though it’s a competition at this point, so both of them.

who is more romantic? Eli.

what sort of gifts do they get for each other? Once again, again– gifts that have sentimental value, they don’t need to buy the world, they just need to mean something to each other. That or real oddities, or functional gifts.

who gets jealous easiest? Both of them.

who gets more excited for events e.g.. birthdays, christmas? Neither of them. They don’t tend to put value into days.

who is the most adventurous? Both of them.

who is the most protective? Both of them.

what would they have been like as childhood sweethearts? The explorative rebellious kind. Discovering old, empty buildings to walk through; Ekaterina sneaking cheap wine for Eli to discover he doesn’t like it while looking out at the horizon, cityscape, or endless ocean; having discussions about nothing and everything at the same time. They’d learn who they are together, and who they can be apart, while making memories neither could forget.

Who would wake up first? Probably Eli. When Sophie sleeps, she passes out.

Do they have nicknames for each other? She has some pet names she can use on him. He tries to call her ‘general’, which makes her roll her eyes.

What happened when they met each other’s parents? n/a

How do they apologize after an argument? Sophie is the sort to acknowledge her mistakes whenever she might have made them, and she’ll try to make amends for those. Sometimes it might not involve all that many words or a formal apology, but, her gestures will demonstrate it.

What would they be like as parents? As a parent, Sophie would be very inclined to teach kids the discipline and standards she lives by, which can be surreal. It’s where Eli would balance her out and probably show the kids there are other alternatives.

Who is the better cook? They both have their sets of skills and things they’re good at. Sophie is probably the better baker.

Who is more romantic? Eli.

What sort of gifts do they get for each other? Anything that might seem meaningful to the other. It’s probably more about the act of gifting than the gift itself.

Genevieve could tell he was injured from the way he was moving. “As soon as this is over, you need to have that looked at” she ordered. “By a surgeon who isn’t you.” She was annoyed he was the only surgeon in the meeting hall, otherwise she’d have ordered him to be looked at before now. “Until the danger passes” she said. Other than that, she wasn’t ready to specify.
