"Isn't what what meant?"

This makes Eduardo look up: Mark's sitting in the middle of a mess of bent-up construction beams, cinderblock, his back up against the remains of what looks like his armchair -- his arms are around his knees.

OH MAN, FOR SRS THO. Do you know how bad it's gotten? I've gone and created this headcanon for myself that Ke$ha is actually a werewolf (that bit in Cannibal where she goes "a-woah-OH-OH-OH"? she does that a lot, I think, that sort-of howl thing?) and the reason why they autotune her all the time is because she agitates other werewolves, who want to respond to her howling when it's been left unaltered.

House of a Hundred Regrets | devikun | xxxHolic | Doumeki/Watanuki | AHHH GOD REMEMBER MY CLAMP PHASE? I remember my Clamp phase. I remain unabashedly fond of xxxHolic, and this remains my favorite fic. It's case-fic, and it's SO WELL WRITTEN. You know how you'll enjoy something and bookmark it, and then come back six years later and be like, "the fuck was I on?" This is not that fic.

Runaways (The Follow-the-Leader Remix) | imochan | Harry Potter | James/Remus | Marauders era! Prank-centric! A remix! All excellent things! I think my favorite thing about this is you know how everybody's, like, super articulate in fiction? when in real life, you fumble a lot and talk past each other a lot and never ACTUALLY say what's on your mind because it sounds stupid everywhere outside of the written word? Nobody in this fic finishes their sentences.

YOU DON'T KNOW HOW BADLY YOU WANT THIS FIC, BUT YOU WANT IT. TRUST ME. Ellen steals hearts (literally, and she hides them in things) and Jesse is a troll. Just, put this fic in your eyeballs, you won't regret it.

call me a hater if you want to (five times Eduardo almost punched Sean in the face, and one time he actually did) | liz | The Social Network | Mark/Eduardo | uuughhhhh there is such a soft spot in my heart for this fic. It's crazy cathartic, and in fact, it has an honorary spot on my "So you just watched yourself a movie about Facebook and you're not entirely sure what just happened but you know you want fic WELCOME TO THE FANDOM" primer, because this fic is like the after-dinner mint to the movie. IT'LL MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER.

Leave the Confusion and All Disillusion | misachan | White Collar/Firefly | gen | Or, Neal Caffrey and Shepherd Book meet in a bar. I actually went fishing in my White Collar tag for the Leverage crossover that's kind of my favorite thing, but then I saw this and remembered how fond of it I was. Give it a shot.

Actually, all of the New Years celebrations are really badass: Hijri, Rosh Hashanah, Chinese New Year. Whilst appreciation of champagne is lost on me, I like January 1st for the counting down and the shrieking and socially acceptable bodily throwing of oneself on other people. I like starting my year with dogpiles of hugs.
