Quick character sketch for fun
I've just finished reading your The Gift Receipt Rockimatic Universe and loved every second of it. Will you be writing more? I'd loved to see what the Eridians wrote about Grace in the "book" and also learn how his fingers got broken.
I haven't seen many fics going into actual detail or depict the consequences of Grace's trauma and starvation, so False Friends was such a breath of fresh air. I loved the whole caretaking aspect of it.
Would you ever write scenes from False Friends in Rocky's POV? You're such a great writer and I'd love to see what he was thinking and feeling and getting up to while trying to keep Grace alive on the way back to Erid, communicating with his people and breaking the news to them that he was bringing home an alien (lol), going about his duties once he's back on Erid and reuniting with Adrian and seeding Threeworld. Basically all the stuff he you up to while Grace's brain was too mushy to comprehend 😆
Thank you so much for this very kind ask! I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed the fic(s). I will put the answer below a cut. For any curious reader, we’re talking about this: https://archiveofourown.org/works/85235136

Happy #nationalpublicistday To All The Hard Working PR Pros out there. | October 30th is the day that the New York Times printed verbatim the very first press release written by Ivy Lee, the “father of modern PR”. The Pennsylvania Railroad was a client of Ivy Lee, and on October 28th, 1906, 50 people lost their lives due to a three-car train jumping a trestle in New Jersey and plunging into a thoroughfare creek. In response to this, Ivy Lee created the first press release that afternoon. He not only convinced the railroad to distribute a public statement, but he also convinced them to provide a special train to get reporters to the scene of the accident. The New York Times was so impressed with this innovative approach to corporate communications that it printed the first press release—verbatim—on Oct. 30, 1906, as a “Statement from the Road.” . . . #publicrelations #historyofpr #publicist #ivylee #fatherofpr #communications #corporatecommunications https://www.instagram.com/p/BplQJVTng-Q/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=18uz50rfmhemy
