felt cute, might disappear again
so I've been won over by the Tex, Mark, n Dallas are all brothers headcanons. n I'm not gonna write a whole thing for it cause I already got some sick ass mutuals who's thoughts are WAY more coherent (cough cough if u haven't checked out @your-unfriendlyghost au do urself a favor n RUN over there) but there's just somethin so sickenin to me about that. violence that is so ingrained in a family it will find you anywhere. Dallas who kills himself. Mark who's shot down. N Tex. who will walk both their footsteps (betrayed by a brother. caught up in senseless violence. stumblin, shot, callin for help) but Tex makes it. Tex will hold that gun n decide not to shoot. cause he has what the other two never did. he has mason. n that makes all the difference.

I'm gonna live 'vent' abt the new Walking w Dinosaurs real quick. Juuuust rlly quick.
I'm only 20 min in to the Albertasaurus episode but this was a huge swing, right? Like not only the idea that these guys are going to be coordinated pack hunters, but that there is a matriarch? That they are organized at all? I'm trying hard to keep w it but this episode has rlly thrown me for a loop.
Like the fact they found a bone bed of a bunch of Albertasaurus? OK, gives evidence they *could* have hunted together. But being a cohesive pack? That sort of behavior is still being disputed in dromeasaurs, which are thought to be smarter and more likely to pack hunt than other therapods. How are we making this leap for a tyrannosaurid??
I will be consoled if they state something like the following:
- the pack is made up of sub-adults which cannot hold territory so they group together
- the pack has formed because of the migration, but typically does not hunt and live this way
- the pack is in any way related at all. All common examples of coordinated pack hunting behavior are done by familial groups. Aggregations of unrelated animals, like crocodile gatherings, are not coordinated hunts.

Sad Dorian has been on my mind ever since last Thursday, so here's a quick sketch of our favourite blue boy having a bad time shortly before episode 13 airs (and with that, presumably, another portion of heartbreak)
