I watched this movie at random. I was day drinking and don't know how or why I found it but I ended up enjoying it. I'll start by saying it wasn't the best thing I've ever seen. Most of the acting is terrible. The dialogue doesn't help but Ivan Rogers delivers something far beyond the rest of the film. His acting took a fairly generic story and character and turned it into something with some substance. It's a pretty basic 80's noir style story (weaknesses and all) but the play between Rogers and his partner, played by Sandy Brook is compellingly strong and the two bring out the best in each other acting wise. The film might be low budget but if you want an enjoyable crime thriller with a surprisingly strong lead then you should give this a shot. It has good music too, 1980's in essence of course but it adds to the neo noir where the acting and writing fall short. The 1980's city scape also lends to the film with a gritty kind of realism that helps pad out the weaker bits.
Fans of Dirty Harry and Deathwish might enjoy this. A cop with a murdered wife has an agenda. He want's justice any way he can get it and the story goes from there. Not the best but driven by a strong lead.
I'm glad I gave it a shot.
