good morning my lovelies, i’m having some grimoire troubles and am reaching out to the witchy community for help. currently i have about a quarter of a notebook filled with my grimoire things but i want a more organized look - i’m playing into the idea of using a binder and would like some tips on how you guys organize your binder grimoires/book of shadows. any help is welcome :)  also, just over 2 weeks until my due date! i’m so excited and nervous, hoping she comes early so i can get over the anxiety of giving birth. my midwife suggested leaving myself sticky notes on my bathroom mirror to remind me that i CAN and WILL do this. but let me tell you guys, i’m scared as fuuuuck. i can’t wait to see my beautiful little moon baby for the first time, even the rush i get from thinking about it opens the floodgates.  that’s all i have for now, time for some grimoire inspo. stay spooky my loves, itswtchkrftt.

it’s finally the day my witchy friends! i’m so excited to do some celebrating today. although my plans have changed a bit i will be lighting a few candles and incense for my loved ones who have passed and honoring them.  i thought about holding an elaborate celebration but time and money are a factor in my celebrating. i will be setting up a mini altar with pictures of my loved ones, candles, incense and crystals. remember, you aren’t any less of a witch if you don’t celebrate Samhain or if you celebrate it in your own special way. this is a day for our dead, and we honor them any way we can.  with that, have a blessed Samhain and a safe Halloween.  itswtchkrftt.

every day that passes is another day closer to holding my sweet moon child; my little scorpio baby. i honestly never thought this day would come and that i would be pregnant forever and now that it actually is here i’m freaking out a little.  with Sage’s upcoming birth i won’t be as active as i’ve been this past while, at least not until i’ve gotten myself and Sage in a groove that works for both of us. i’m going to start a queue though so my content will be updated from time to time :) that’s it for now lovelies, keep it surreal. itswtchkrftt.

hey my loves,  i know i haven’t been the most active for the last two weeks, having a baby is a huge time suck. worth it though. i just thought i’d update my personal posts on tumblr and talk about the last few weeks quickly. so this past full moon was actually pretty awesome, i got to charge all my crystals and rose water and my husband helped me make moon water and charge it - we left them outside for two days, they got to charge when the moon was 100% full and then again at 99% - my husband has been super accepting with my craft and has actually expressed serious interest in it. it’s definitely something i’d like to introduce to Sage once she’s old enough to understand it. it’s not something i’d force on her by any means as when i was growing up i had my grandparents religious beliefs forced on me, but if it’s something she’s interested in when she’s of age then i’d be happy to teach her everything i know.  i’ve reopened my wordpress blog again to start blogging on there as well. i’ve decided i want to blog about my experiences as being a first time mom and all the fun stuff that comes with being a parent. for me, aside from blogging about my craft and spellworkings and stuff i’d like to give people an inside view of my take on being a mom. so i’m going to try it out and see how it goes.  also, on a huge positive note, i’ve lost some weight and my wedding ring fits again. it’s crazy how quickly i’ve bounced back, mentally and physically, from being pregnant. it’s been almost 3 weeks post partum and my tummy is almost gone - it’s bittersweet because my favourite part of being pregnant was my big round belly but i’ll be happy to wear normal pants for the first time in over a year. cody and i are also talking about expanding our family in the next year or so with another baby - we want Sage to be about a year before we actually start planning for baby number two, but it’s something we’ve talked about and are very serious about it.  our engagement anniversary is also coming up this month, so i’m trying to plan something special, but with it being so close to christmas it’s quite difficult. not to mention it’s Sage’s first christmas so i want to spoil her as much as i can. being on a budget makes it hard but i know we’ll make it work.  anyways, that’s all the updates i can think of for now;  keep it surreal babes,  itswtchkrftt.
