She continued, rubbing at the back of her neck and clearing her throat, she was the portrait of calm and composed. Brooke had no idea what she was hinting at. She was confused, read the signs wrong, picked up the wrong vibes. Kirby was certain she was subtle with her actions. "I have no idea what you're talking about." Kirby attempted to laugh but it came out as a pitiful giggle, the complete opposite of her usual husked laughter.
