Y'all ever have a dream about an audio? Not the VAs themselves, rather, the dream is about listening to an audio that does not exist. You probably have, but I'm gonna tell you about mine anyways. It's a little strange, actually. Like, think about it, there were no visuals to go off of, and not just because the audio was a fabrication of my own mind. My brain has a pretty small frame of reference for audios with an actual visual element, partly because not everyone uses character art in their thumbnails, partly because I don't sit down and watch the screen for like, 97% of the ones I listen to anyways, shoutout autoplay. But suffice it to say, no visuals. And I know I'm not just floating in some void, but I really can't discern where I am. And it kinda just plays, there is some sort of adventure plot happening, I think. Very classic hero's journey, urban fantasy I think(??) type stuff happening. I'm not even really locked in. And them, it happens. The distant, somewhat foggy sound of this audio begins to come into clarity little by little, and the first thing I hear is Escaped Audios. Singing. And that in and of itself isn't gaggy, bro has sung before. But this is like, full on operatic, CATS type of spectacle. Like, in my dream, he's showboating 😭 It's honestly fucking awesome. And this is also when shapes and forms, rudimentary ones, begin to take shape. I can seeeee bro (sorta a cross between his avatar, and that one censored photo on his Tumblr of him in a production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show), and he's soooo into it, like some maestro.

And then slowly, a chorus of people begin to join him. It starts with GBAudios... Then in comes ZSakuVA... I'm hearing Shaymless and Cardlin, and I THINK Obsidian Lantern, and a few others I listen to regularly. And then randomly, this rather haunting, liminal symphony they've seemingly freestyled into existence is interrupted just before the crescendo. By who, you may ask?? Why, none other than CastleAudios as the villain. Something I forgot to mention is that so far, there has only been the Escaped shaped mass, and floating, disembodied voices of various voice actors. But the SECOND CastleAudios arrives at the scene, it's like some vital stabilizer has been injected into the concoction, and suddenly there is a STAGE. Deep maroon curtains, dark, hard wood floors, very classic stuff. I think atp I'm basically floating above some decent seats to the left of the stage, watching in third person as CastleAudios and Escaped Audios have what I can only describe as a vocally vicious, epic rock opera showdown? I don't know, but they look fucking awesome. There is a distinct Phantom of the Opera/Tuxedo mask vibe coming from both of them. I don't sleep long enough to see who wins. Honestly, I couldn't even speculate, as they both seemed incredibly on par with each other, and I don't just mean vocally. It was hard to tell if they both were actors who knew they were on stage, or simply two cosmic nemeses using the theater as the final backdrop of their epic, world destroying showdown. Both were extremely theatrical about it, and with the chorus seeming to increase in volume specifically to keep me from listening in on the few moments they broke from singing to throw jabs at one another... We may never know.

So, what is the takeaway? Well, on a personal, psychological level, I get why this dream might have chosen me, lolol. First of all, I am a singer. I've been singing and performing pretty much my whole life, be it in chorus or musicals. I also listen to lots of musicals and go see plays, so the setting is honestly par for the course. I am also sick rn, which is making hard for me to talk, let alone sing ❤️‍🩹 So I think my brain was doing some, albeit super strange, wish fulfilment. As for the VAs, I just started to really get back into listening to audios regularly, as I've not been doing so due to personal life stuff and general business :0 So that's that.

As for the prophecy I know this dream is trying to convey, the universe is clearly using me as a channel, and my purpose now is to lock back in on advocating for an audio roleplay musical, a duhhhhh. Cmon guyyyys, you know you want tooooo, ouuuuuuu~~

The stuff I've begun to process in my personal life, and how when Auron opened that pen box and saw a gun, then saw himself, that felt so much like a PTSD flashback, I almost forgot about the underlying Finn fuckery going on. And like, yes ofc Auron would be carrying that trauma with him for the rest of his life, but I never really considered it like that before. And it's not even just the flashback, but how disoriented he sounds after it. As though he's genuinely been somewhere else, bc sometimes that's how it feels, right?
