#its been a year...

I've been consistently buying new resin moulds and realistically I think my spending spree has ceased but, when I tell you... I love making resin art so much 😭😭😭 I remember telling my friend that I HAD to stick with this hobby for at least three months because I wanted to make sure the initial $80 I spent on the equipment and supplies were worth it. now, it's been one year later and I've spent upwards of at least $800 on things related to resin and in my eyes, it's been very worth it. I find so much joy in creating resin shakers and every time I come up with a new design or a new pretty color combo that's what I imagine smoking crack feels like. I don't think I can put a price on that and I've realized how important it is to have a hobby that's not just surfing the net. I follow a handful of resin artists on youtube, and there's one who titled one of her videos "resin shakers take a very long time to make, but why are they so fun!" and bro? that's my sentiments exactly. I think this is a form of expression for me and I want to open up a store once I've reached a certain number of followers on social media. I don't think my skills are very good but I have a lot of fun and I think that's what matters.

I still fear things because of you. I can’t find the words to explain to my partner exactly why I cry or can’t do certain things. The worst thing is that you don’t know what you did. You were a mistake in my life. Your presence changed me. I hardly effected you.
