I'm deadass waiting for Rod Serling to just stroll into times square tomorrow night, say some shit about humanity, & then end his speech with "a year, in The Twilight Zone." & then we'll all die I guess

thinking about what castiel would hypothetically keep of dean’s to parallel dean keeping the trench coat (@seriesfive thanks jules...) and I just know he is too humble to presume he could keep something important if dean ever “died” it would all go to Sam. BUT he would totally pull an edward cullen. thanks to the Twilight RenaissanceTM folks blame them, but in midnight sun edward keeps the bottle cap of the lemonade bella had at lunch as a token to remember their important conversation. It’s the tiniest little thing, seemingly unimportant but he carries it around in his pocket for like the whole book. I feel it in my bones that castiel WOULD carry around something small from their first date if they had one. OR he’d save a note that dean wrote him on a napkin. Dean would leave a particularly sweet voicemail and cas would never delete it. he’d keep that phone around just to keep the message. he wouldn’t bring himself listen to it except at his darkest moments, but he would carry the long since disabled phone around everywhere. you’d think it would be the mixtape, but he probably never thinks of it the way dean intended. it’d have to be small but it could be anything: a pen, an air freshener, a ketchup packet, a travel sized toothpaste, it literally doesn’t matter but it would be hugely significant. i am w e a k just imagining the possibilities
