i won't add it to the other psot bc it's not that relevant but always remember - ff.net is a worse place than ao3 except (in my days) there was no a/b/o. and yes in the m/f dominated video games fandoms meant any same-gender-pairing was automatically likely to be leagues better because at least it wasn't the same boring rehashed shit. i've seen things beyond your comprehension. and outside of writing you've got a lot of m/f p_rn aimed at the male players - again, i've seen things beyond your comprehension. canonical m/m and f/f romances were amazing concepts and both mshenko and the male ryder/jaal romances got screwed over (ok andromeda is rather recent but that just makes the omission worse). but also, jack should've been romanceable by both genders. i'm so salty
