Ray and Clay are the same people, but from different timelines. Depending on the verse - and similar to Venus / Nova - they will considered to be as twin brothers.

Venus is the same person as Nova, but from a different timeline.

Ray is one of the older brothers to Venus in their timeline. Clay is the older brother to Nova in their timeline.

August is the eldest brother, but is from Clay's and Nova's timeline. Due to the events in my book, August is been made aware of Ray and Venus.

Again, when it boils down to verses, Clay and Ray are twin brothers while Nova and Venus are twin sisters. August used to be close to Clay but grew closer to both Ray and Venus. August doesn't grow close to Nova. His bond with Ray is deeper than the bond with Clay.

I have a very niche ancient ship. You have Pashtarot, who so far has spoken a handful of words in game 7+ years ago, and the previous Fandaniel before Hermes (who I usually refer to by name, Ares, to avoid confusion) who mostly...died. That's pretty much all he did. Aside from further scarring Hermes, but. Well.

I don't quite know how it started, except it originally involved the current Fandaniel (Amon paints a Presence) until Hermes existed...very different from the Ares I'd already created. And a different Greek god, to boot.

But why is it that whenever I go onto ao3 and look up this ship, all I get is straight porn??

Ofc there are some actually good fics, but why is the wide majority porn?
