The term "politically correct" is a lie. The government didn't wake up and decide "how about we stop killing brown people, giving poor people drugs, and maybe let women or brown people vote?" No they could give less of a crap about us being happy, what started the conversation in the govt was the complaining of everyday people who had had enough. The citizens cared, the politicians did not. They only "care" now because they know that's how they get votes. The conversation isn't new, the technological medium that makes the conversation so accessible is. Stop letting the govt hurt minorities then ignoring it because you don't like to be "politically correct" seriously our right to live and prosper is not worth your tired attempt at being an EdgeLord. By stopping a conversation because you don't want to be "political" you're letting them do whatever they want then relieve yourself of the "chore" of being involved. Tell me will you still think it's only a political dialogue when they take away your home, job, family, and then say it's too "politically correct" to give you a livelihood or even acknowledge how yours was upturned. Don't be so easily manipulated.
