Turns out Dusseldorf is ok?  In the middle of an industrial park.  Nothing for miles around apart from a handy garden centre and petrol station.  No tubes, trams, just a bus stop and car park , great.

ISS Dome is a large ice hockey arena again.  Capacity around 10,000.  

12 gate lines, it was a windy and cold day, much shivering was undertaken.  Thank god we borrowed some bread rolls, ham, cheese, banana, croissant, raisin bar, water from the hotel breakfast bar otherwise it would have been a Hungary SOTR!  

Can't say it was my favourite queue.  Very crowded, sprawling and a bit random.  I like a numbered straight line.  Anyway.  It got worse.

As doors go to green, we are etickets, print at home tickets, I am scanned "ok" possibly the first into the venue.... This may be why I was ok.  I look behind for Sister A as I am frisked.  I should also say, we discovered two minutes before doors the big large German posters outside on the glass doors stated NO CAMERA's.  Shyte?... The camera in my pocket is not discovered.  

Anyway, poor sister A along with every other eticket holder in the queue, don't have a successful scan, there are now 15 plus tickets in a pile for the lady on the computer to go through , she has no idea what is going wrong.  You needed your ticket as a pass into the arena so there was no way to pass.  

After a good few mins of trauma, sister A walks into the arena.  All the people behind her in the queue kicking off for the delay and crying for the lack of access to the venue.  It was bad.  Not a great gig experience.  There are various posts instaspam and Twitter.  

It was so horrid being separated from my buddy, and just a joyful moment when I saw her enter. At this stage, song kick you suck.  

So, after all the trauma we were feeling mighty relieved.  Bill Ryder Jones was as lovely as ever.  Big up to Birkenhead.

Mumford.  Well they mixed it for the night.  Starting with three from Wilder Mind, then LLM.  It was very cool the Unknown.  You could see Marcus was enjoying himself counting in German from the intro of the first cord.  The banter was good.  Guess what. It was ted's birthday....... 😂 we sang happy birthday.  The thumbs up game if you were having a good time..... Lots of smiles and laughs.  

The b stage was back, then the extra magic happened.  Hot gates..... Then new guitar...... I risk the camera out and film the new song..... By this time security must have gone past caring!  It was so awesome to hear Forever.  I can't tell you how excited we were, with a very steady cam most tricky.  I loved it instantly.  An instant hit.  The crowd went mad.  Marcus really letting loose.  

Then he brought on Bill Ryder Jones and his band for a rocking version of You really got me.  That was it UBER joy.  I was totally sold on Dusseldorf now.  A stomping I will wait, and finally, as Marcus said, I love the wolf.  

It was awesome.  Thanks chaps.  Leg one was a winner.
