Thistle whisks the last plate away. Korrah takes a deep breath and stands up.

“Hey, everyone,” he calls out to the table. Everyone turns. Thank the Watcher Jacinta and Xavi left, he thinks. Surprisingly, many of his nerves settled after they left. Maybe they were the root of a lot of it. “If you don’t mind, I have something to say.”

He extends a hand to Rosie. She takes it and stands next to him, all smiles. Totally unassuming. Kor takes a deep another deep breath.

“So, Rosie.” Korrah faces her, rather than the table. “Being with you has been…well, to say amazing would be a disservice, but your presence has taken every word but amazing from me.”

He clears his throat, trying not to focus on Rosie’s slightly confused expression.
