Irving 9th-grader arrested after taking homemade clock to school: 'So you tried to make a bomb?'

So he made a clock to show off his skills. His engineering teacher liked it but warned him from showing it to others. And his English teacher and Principal called the cops on him because it looked like a bomb. The cops interrogated him without his parents or his attorney present. They acknowledge that the kid has always maintained it is a clock but they cannot understand the “broader explanation” or ”why was it built?” 

Oh wait, did I mention he is a 14 year old MUSLIM? Now doesn’t that make more sense? Why would someone like him with a name Mohamed, the most common name in Muslims, built something unless it is a threat?

Is it so hard to understand that he might have built it because unlike his peers, he does not like making volcanoes and listening to Justin Bieber or getting high scores on their xboxes?
