I'm trying to keep myself occupied while I try to stay awake cuz I start at third shift job tomorrow (well I guess tonight technically. Like I have to leave my house at 11:30 PM tonight and I'll be at work from midnight to 8 AM, so I have to completely switch my sleeping schedule so that I start falling asleep at 8 AM and sleeping til 5 PM. Cuz usually I'd be asleep from midnight to 8 but now I've gotta be at work then)
Turning around at the sudden slap on her back, Irene practically jumped before furrowing her brows in confusion at the red-haired female that had swung at her. When the female in front of her had finished her sentence, Irene gave her a warm smile, shaking her head in assurance. “It’s fine, Miss! I guess from the back I could practically be someone everybody knows.”
It was one of these times, these rare times Soojung were so conflicted; times when she could recognize someone from her past, someone from her Home.
That wasn't supposed to happen - she was told hundred times they were gone - but still, there was something about this girl that had walked in and out a building not so far from a friend's place for some months.
The red-haired girl had watched her, quietly and carefully, bottom lip caught between her teeth in expectation, every time the girl showed up. Her name, she had never caught - and honestly, she could barely remember the name of her own sister, the one that looked so much like this other girl. Was it Euridia? Andrina? ...No, none of them. And if it wasn't enough desperation, the girl in question didn't have the aura needed to be at least from the same species as the red-haired fable.
Nervousness would always take her when she was at her task, now almost routinist - and the feeling was getting worse and worse as the days passed and she was beginning to think on doing something about this. It could have any harm, just to talk, right? Right?
So she hoped and murmured, repeating at each step closer to that girl as if these words were a preach; preach she almost cursed when what was supposed to be a simple tap at the other's shoulder turned into a slap.
At the other's glance, the mermaid froze. It was her sister's nose, and the voice wasn't similar, but the way she smiled could be kind of that if she forced to so. Still, she was alike, too alike, and she couldn't help but have the words leave her lips in a quite trembling tone. "Eh..? Why?"
