We all know what happens if you try to attack Iri…but what about a kiss attack? Romance stage of course.
Irithiel faintly registers the sound of her office door being opened— the ancient wood creaking ever-so-slightly on its hinges. It’s something the causes the quill in her hand to pause its elegant arch on the parchment underneath it, but it doesn’t stay still for long. The Matriarch is used to people entering and exiting her office at various times— from the maids, to diplomats, to some of her advisors checking in— it’s not unusual for Irithiel to be disturbed while doing her work.
The only being that ever entered her office and didn’t announce themselves, however?
Is the very one that’s scent alone could bring a gentle smile to full lips, violet eyes softening due to the love and adoration that fills them. The very person that’s suddenly pressed to Irithiel’s side as gentle kisses are rained down upon any available inch of skin you could get to; an action that causes Irithiel’s bell like laughter to echo across the room. Her arms, seemingly of their own accord, wrapping loosely around your waist in order to keep you close.
“Hello, darling,” Irithiel murmurs, a soft look etched across her face. Her head dipping for only a split second, violet eyes falling away from yours, so she could press a brief kiss to the back of your hand. “I’ve missed you.”
