ECRO 2017
I'm still trying to grasp this weekend. To be honest it was the first time where I truly felt like myself. New dress, new hair, new vibe. Everything felt right. My two rounds felt clean and energized, but I found myself in that same moment of recalls hoping to hear my number. As it got closer to my number I could feel the nerves and FINALLY my number was called. Finally all the work and all of my training pulled off a recall. My set felt fine, I wasn't 100% happy with it, but overall I danced my absolute best for the day. The rest of the day felt like an outer body experience. Standing backstage with dancers I looked up to and inspired to be and to get called 1 place shy of top 10 was incredible. 4 places from WQ!!
Never have I recalled and here I am 11th in Eastern Canada, 4 places away from WORLD QUALIFYING.
It still feels like a dream. š¤
All I can say is hard work pays off and I'm so happy I didn't give up when results wouldn't go my way.
This is just the beginning.

This year was unbelievable I'm still in shock. I got to visit amazing places, achieve unbelievable things and watch my best friends do the same. I consider myself so incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such talented, supportive, and genuine people; without them I certainly would not be dancing today. This year had some heartbreaking moments, but it was also filled with so much joy. Bring on 2018!!
