doug and dylan (and cole ofc) were really close friends from their disney days. in 2016 i think they decided to move from la to new york to start a brewery, something they were both really passionate about (or at least doug was, i can't speak for dylan). they also had a third business partner, matt kwan, who i believe was incorporated into the project later

everything was smooth sailing, they had an instagram account for all-wise meadery, they posted the progression of their installations and stuff yada yada yada they even had a small inauguration (or a tasting? idk) that was cast live on ig, but the business wasn't actually open for another year. they would even give interviews, but mostly dylan was the face of the company, being more famous and all i guess

AND THEN in 2018 doug posted this:

"Hard work doesn't just disappear. It stays with you and you learn from it. Almost three years ago I moved to New York City, worked my ass off and co-founded a business. I'm grateful for what it taught me."

as it turns out, every. single. picture. of doug was deleted from all-wise's account. to make matters even more dramatic, doug unfollowed dylan, matt kwan, cole and duan mackenzie (a close friend of theirs at the time) but i do know that dylan didn't unfollow him, which only made me think it was all dylan's fault he left

since then, when dylan tells the story of how all-wise came to be, he doesn't mention doug at all. NOTHING. not even by "a friend of mine" or some bs like that. just. just fucking look at the story on the website. what a son of a bitch
