On the side of the top box lid are some other once-available images and they don’t make you wish you’d chosen them instead.

The bottom half of the box is the same old cardboard as the backside of the puzzle pieces. The image printed on top of the shiny lid is smaller than the puzzle when completed, and has faded from being in the sun, so it doesn’t match the puzzle very well anymore.

If you turn the box lid over, you can see it’s exactly the same as the bottom half, but it’s had a shiny printed paper covering glued to it, with the puzzle image on top. The corners of the paper don’t align particularly well inside the lid, and have a slightly crooked white border. The sides of the lid wrapper are printed with the same alarming blue of all skies in puzzles, including this one.

The whole box smells like closet, old lady purse, and dust.
