this is like, kind of minor compared to like the hype of everyone fighting the Grim Comet, but something that really stood out to me is that Rin immediately made a back brace for shooting. Manga!Rin, despite not being an active combatant in an action shounen world might be pretty familiar with guns in that timeline?

like- she hit the Grim Comet which was a pretty far distance away, but you can also write that off as it's a Huge Fucking Thing In The Sky and she aimed at it and pulled a trigger. the fact she immediately made a back brace to ease the pain of firing though- is kind of interesting to me? like, maybe i'm overthinking it, maybe she just knew that as like general trivia especially given unlike Kagome and Kaede she doesn't have a lifetime of experience with fighting and knows this just helps a bit, but it is something i've been thinking a lot of since i noticed it
