A Inuyasha fanfiction for @inukag-week event Inukag week 2025 day 1 rain
Inuyasha were not expected rain when he come to Kagome's world to pick her up so they would keep looking for the Jewel Shards, but it was raining when he arrived and Inuyasha was forced to wait outside until Kagome come back. As Inuyasha sit in the hut where the well is located, he wonder about how Kagome would keep herself out of the rain. Soon, Kagome and her little brother Sota open the back door of the house and the black hair teenage girl call out, "Inuyasha, get in here." and Inuyasha quickly rush into the house, getting himself wet in the process. Kagome start to said to Inuyasha, "It's nice that..." before she saw Inuyasha got on his hands and knees which Kagome realized what going to happen and she quickly use her umbrella to protect her and Sota as Inuyasha shake the water on her body off, making a wet mess in the house. As Inuyasha get up, he noticed the mess that he made as Kagome hand him a tower and said to him, "Clean this up." and Inuayasha quickly get to work.

Inuyasha and Kagome were heading home from a walk when the clouds start to turn grey and it begins to rain, which Inuyasha did some quick thinking and remove his red cloak to make sure that Kagome is dry as the two quickly run back home. Once they make it inside the house, Inuyasha work to get the water out of his cloak while Kagome step up a fire to warm them up before they could catch cold. Soon, the both of them sit next to each other by the fire to warm up and Inuyasha nervous said to Kagome, "Hey, Kagome.... are you okay?" and Kagome said, "Yes, I'm fine, Inuyasha. I got to feel your muscles." which Inuyasha joke, "I bet Miroku past his pervent nature to you." and Kagome giggle at the joke as well.
