omg your fic “i need to say something” is so good i really love it!! it’s so devastating in the most beautiful way and i’ve wondered so many times what would have happened if dean was able to finish his thought!! when cas doesn’t want him to see it just broke my heart!! i can just imagine dean alone back at the bunker crying the same way he did at the end of despair 🥺❤️🩹 it’s so good!!

Aghhh, "devastating in the most beautiful way" is exactly what I was going for 💯
At some point i got obsessed with the idea of exploring what would've happened if Cas hadn't stopped Dean from speaking, and I wanted it to be as realistic and accurate as possible to what could've happened in that moment in the show had the scene gone the other way.
I've also wondered later on how a sequel for this fic would look like, how the story would've continued in that direction, and I actually had three option ideas for a sequel, but none of them convinced me enough to write it (yet, but you never know).
Thank you so much again for reaching out, I've been away from the fandom for a while and i just got back (and back to writing!) so this was a much appreciated (and needed 😭) injection of confidence!
