My interview show, Into the Spotlight has been airing for almost 2 1/2 years. For 18 months it was weekly, but then changed to thrice a month.

This Saturday, January 24th, 2015, Japan time, I will be recording the 104th and final episode. I have a guest lined up, but I think I'd like to have a little Q&A section.

That's where you come in.

I won't answer crass, rude, or invasive questions, but other than that, I'll answer them all.

As you may have heard, EFN is shutting down (has shut down) on January 1st, 2015. My show has been airing on the network since Halloween, 2012. I am very proud to have been part of such a network.

Starting Jan 1st, Canterlot Hill will be taking over many EFN shows, as well as the chat. I wish them well, and hope that everyone will continue to support their favorite shows. I, however, will not be joining the network.

To be honest, for the past few months, I had been planning on ending my show at the end of February. That would make it 104 shows, two solid years had I stuck to the once-a-week schedule I held for the first 18 months of my show. That's a lot to do by oneself! I arrange the interview, hold the interviews, edit the audio of the interviews, create the background for the show, render the show, upload and schedule the show, and air the show on the Livestream, all by myself. And after 2 ½ years, I'm tired. This past March, I had tried to recruit someone to handle possibly one or two of the interviews a month, but that fell through, and nobody that was interested was willing to work as hard as the activity demanded. Unfortunate, but understandable.

I'm not finishing the show because of some other project, or because I feel resentful, or due to any person's actions, or even feeling the fandom has changed. I'm not doing it to show someone up, or to give in to someone's threats/demands. Nor do I hold any bitterness towards the network, the viewers, the guests, or even the trolls. I am merely ending the show because I am tired. I still love you all. Yes, some of you drive me freaking nuts, and I will always be a grumpy guy, but there's still love there. I'm not any less of a fan or member of the fandom than I was yesterday.

Into the Spotlight will continue on EFN's Youtube until the end of February. I will probably hold to the same schedule as I have been, releasing every episode on Wednesday, 8PM Central, but there will be no livestreaming. Heh, considering I usually had 7-8 live viewers, I doubt that will affect many of you. Most of my audience has been youtube, and I hope they will continue to watch my shows.

From June of this year, Into the Spotlight was Japanese for the last show of the month. As far as we know, this is the only Japanese brony interview podcast, and I am very proud to have helped kick this off. I can also say that Into the Spotlight Japan WILL continue on Canterlot Hill, the last Saturday of each month, tentatively 10PM JST. I'm happy that Dolce Tikky and Sakura Cheetah will be continuing, but I will stay with EFN till the end of February, then be done.

So I hope you will all enjoy the last few shows I have. 104 interviews is a lot, and I am proud to have been part of such a high quality network for such a long time.
