中国のアイドル養成番組で、以前周震南が1位に選ばれたのだが、二年後の2021年に日本人が2位と3位に選ばれていた。

選ばれた11人はINTO1というグループで二年活動し、現在は解散して個別に活動している。

力丸は選ばれた時点で既に27歳で、10代の子もいる中ではお兄さんだった。ダンスは元々いくつもの国内の大会で優勝していて、番組でもダンスリーダー的な位置で、他のメンバーに教えたりしていた。

最終的には3位で選ばれたが、最初から一貫して上位にいた。

彼の魅力は耽美的なダンス、退廃的な雰囲気を持っていて、しかも上品なのだ。普段の彼がおっとりしていて、天然なのでギャップが面白いと思う人も多いだろう。

私が一番不思議なのは彼の曲”Up and Down"が中国を始めとして、東南アジアで音楽ランキングの上位にあるのに、日本では知名度が低いこと。

アイドルを見ていると、日本だけは位置付けが違う気がする。他の国では実力が大事なのに、日本では人気、それも作られたものが大事になっている。なので残念ながら日本のアイドルの歌やダンスのレベルは高くない。

これはジャニーズの影響ではないかと私は思う。日本では男性アイドル＝ジャニーズの時代が長く続いた。ジャニーズは極限すれば故ジャニー喜多川の気にいるかどうかで優劣が決まった。

力丸はジャニーズに応募したが落ちたという。ジャニーズに彼ほど踊れる人は一人もいないのに。

力丸のような実力者が海外に流れていくのは勿体無い。事実彼は日本ではアイドルではなかったが、中国で認められてデビューしている。日本の音楽のレベルがもっと上がってほしい。日本人のアイドルに対する姿勢を変えないと、この現象は続いてしまうだろう。

Rikimaru is a dancer and choreographer. He was born in Hyogo, Japan in 1993.

He was selected as a member of INTO1, which is an idol group in China.

This group was made by 11 guys selected from Produce camp2021、where there were altogether over 90 boys.

Riki was the third boy then. I don’t know such a talented person in Japan. His dance is aesthetic and decadent, but noble.

I’m surprised he is not so famous in Japan.

He is famous in many Asian countries, mainly in China, though.

Japanese idol is different from that of the other countries.

I think it is because of Johnny Kitagawa, who was a producer of idols. For a long time in Japan, almost all the male idols were under his control.
