Harvey on Guillermo pursuing his own happiness:Ā
āHeās gonna start looking out for number one now. Heās always put other people ahead of his own needs. And even though he says that, heās still helping out with Nandor finding a wife and being the best man to him. But I feel like heās gonna put himself in front, and heās gonna do whatever it takes to make himself happy.ā
Meanwhile, Kayvan discusses Nandorās gradual realization of how important Guillermo is to him:
āNandor has been on a journey, and heās been looking for something thatās been right under his nose, the whole time. The more he searches for that, the more he has an inkling that heās already found it. Thatās his relationship with Guillermo.ā
What keeps drawing Guillermo back in, time after time?
āThereās a part of him that likes to be needed, that gives him purpose. Who doesnāt like to be wanted? Thatās what hooks him, when Nandor brings him back in. That pulls at his heartstrings with, āI need you. I need you to help me.āā

Worked a lot this weekend and I work more than normal this week aswell, but at least it's not finals yet. I have an interview tomorrow and got a second one with a different firm. Some of my friends have already revived offers which lowers my confidence a bit as we interviewed with the same firms despite this im super happy for them. Both got offers at over 20 an hour and they have until the 8th to respond, I hope they'll take the time to think it through as I know it's their second choice but they may still get their first.
Between today and yesterday I watched 3 lectures for financial institutions and 3 for real estate and I'm all caught up now :^). I got most of my Fin. Inst. homework done but still have a little left for tomorrow. There's a supply chain assignment due at the end of the week and I think I'll have time to work on it tomorrow as well.
Also the grades for my real estate project are in, and I got a 95! That brings me to an 89 in the class, if I do well on the final I can get an A- instead of a B+ :^)

For me, literature is a form of play. But Iāve always added that there are two forms of play: football, for example, which is basically a game, and then games that are very profound and serious. When children play, though theyāre amusing themselves, they take it very seriously. Itās important. Itās just as serious for them now as love will be ten years from now. I remember when I was little and my parents used to say, āOkay, youāve played enough, come take a bath now.ā I found that completely idiotic, because, for me, the bath was a silly matter. It had no importance whatsoever, while playing with my friends was something serious. Literature is like thatāitās a game, but itās a game one can put oneās life into. One can do everything for that game.
