I really hate my conscience sometimes.
I was taking my daily afternoon nap, when my phone starts ringing: it's my mother. From my groggy voice, she realizes that I am mid-nap and tells me, in a rather stern voice, that she'll "call me later." I say alright, hang up, and attempt to go back to sleep...
...but can't, because I'm wondering whether or not she went online and saw my horrendous math midterm grade and whether she will threaten to pull me out of school/make me pay for the credits/annihilate me.
I try listening to soothing music, rationalizing that she wasn't mad, etc., but for a half an hour, nothing works.
And now I am up.
And I hate my conscience.
I mean, who needs to pass Stats anyway, right?
